A few years ago I am certain that I had read a quote from Ellen White where she said that the Holy Spirit was Jesus Christ without his human flesh. I would appreciate if you can send me this quote or its location. And also I would be interested to know how I can research the 1911, or 1888 Edition of the Desire of Ages concerning this topic as well. Thank you very much for your help.
Sincerely

Thank you for contacting the Ellen G. White Estate. Is this the paragraph you had in mind?--
The Holy Spirit is Christ's representative, but divested of the personality of humanity, and independent thereof. Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally. Therefore it was for their interest that He should go to the Father, and send the Spirit to be His successor on earth. No one could then have any advantage because of his location or his personal contact with Christ. By the Spirit the Saviour would be accessible to all. In this sense He would be nearer to them than if He had not ascended on high. (The Desire of Ages, p. 669.)
You will note that this does not say quite the same as what you asked about. It says that the Holy Spirit is Christ's representative, not that He is Christ without His human flesh. As I understand Mrs. White's view on these things, she did not make any member of the Trinity to be the same as another member but in different form (this was a viewpoint the Christian church faced in its early centuries and finally rejected as heresy); rather, the three members of the Godhead are distinct individuals yet united in one.
At any rate, I think this may be the statement you had in mind. Let me know if I can be of further service to you. Thank you for writing, and God bless.
