Prescott’s Claim Regarding The Great Controversy

The assertion that W. W. Prescott contributed “considerable material” to the 1911 edition is examined in detail

At the conclusion of the 1919 Bible Conference, W. W. Prescott claimed to have contributed “considerable material” to the “revision” of the 1888 edition of The Great Controversy.

Desmond Ford later stated that many of The Great Controversy pages were changed because of Prescott’s criticism and suggestions. A careful comparison of the two editions shows that neither Prescott’s nor Ford’s statements are true.
