Sunnyside. Ellen White«s tree. <|>When Ellen G. White lived at "Sunnyside", Cooranbong, New South Wales, she frequently used this bush trail to reach Avondale College.

It is said, that Ellen White often tied her horse and buggy to a nearby sapling and sat in the shade of this giant eucalyptus on the banks of Sandy Creek to meditate and write. Here in the Australian bushland, with birds calling in the forest trees, she felt close to the Creator. The ancient eucalyptus has weathered many a storm, and now with broken branches and "scars of battle" it will undoubtedly stand as a landmark for years to come.<|> (color)
