A publishing association with printing facilities, operated at Florida, Buenos Aires, Argentina, to care for the needs of the Austral, Chile, and Inca unions, and North and South Ecuador missions, which comprise the Spanish-speaking portion of the South American Division. The Austral Union encompasses Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, with an area of 1,290,273 square miles (3,341,800 square kilometers) and an approximate population (1993) of 41 million. The Chile Union is comprised of the country of Chile, which has an area of 292,257 square miles (757,000 square kilometers) and an approximate population (1993) of 14 million.
