College View Academy (Lincoln, Nebraska, US)

A day school on the secondary level located in Lincoln, Nebraska, and closely associated with Union College. The faculty and staff numbered 13 in 1993. When Union College was founded in 1891, of the several hundred students enrolled, nearly all were taking work comparable to secondary or elementary grades. The courses were “English Preparatory Course,” comparable to the junior high school course of today (grades 7, 8, 9); the “Preparatory Course” of three years, comparable to the senior high school course today (grades 10, 11, and 12); and the regular college courses.
