Collegiate Adventists for Better Living (CABL)

An organization formed in 1972 to stimulate campus interest in a temperate and well-balanced lifestyle. The organizational process took place at Southwestern Adventist College in Keene, Texas. Its objective is to serve as a collegiate version of the American Health and Temperance Society and to provide a forum for students to demonstrate positive convictions while building camaraderie and support for a healthful lifestyle. Overseen by the Health and Temperance Department of the North American Division, CABL sponsors rallies, oratorical competitions, and a wide variety of other programs and activities in the interest of drug prevention and positive living.
