Daniel Walther

(1902-1985). Educator, administrator. Born in Algeria, he served as publishing director in Switzerland; as a teacher and president of Seminaire Adventiste du Saleve in Collonges, France; as history teacher and academic dean at Southern College in Tennessee; and as chair of the Church History Department of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., and in Berrien Springs, Michigan. After officially retiring, he served as president of Solusi College in Africa and as history teacher at Helderberg College in South Africa. He passed to his rest in Collegedale, Tennessee.
