Edwin Slade

(1865-1952). Conference administrator. After being manager of the Chicago city mission, then an evangelist in Michigan, he was president of the East Michigan Conference (1905-1912). He then held administrative positions in the Ohio (1911-1918) and West Michigan (1919) conferences. He was president of the Atlantic Union Conference (1919-1931) and of the North Pacific Union Conference (1931-1939).
