Frederick Lee

(1888-1988). Missionary, administrator, editor. Born in Michigan, he and his wife Minnie served as missionaries to China for nearly 30 years, where he was director of various missions, superintendent of the North China and Central Union missions, and Ministerial Association director for the China Division. He edited the Chinese Signs of the Times and was later associate editor of the Review and Herald for 19 years. After the death of his wife, he married Emma Iversen Paul. His son Milton followed in his footsteps as a long-term missionary to China.
