George Holt

(1812-1877). A Millerite minister of Connecticut, then one of the first to embrace the new sanctuary and Sabbath positions. In 1850 he was associated with James White in publishing the Advent Review and traveled considerably in northeastern Canada, New York, and Ohio, and later in Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
