Knud Brorsen

(1846-1893). Minister. He was born in Norre Farup, Ribe Amt, Denmark. At the age of 22 he came to the Unites States. The year after his arrival he was converted and accepted the SDA faith in California. Soon after this, he enrolled as a student in Battle Creek College. In 1878 he returned to his homeland to preach, spending the major portion of his time in Denmark, but working also in Norway and attending meetings in Sweden. In October 1892 Brorsen was invited by the General Conference to attend a health and temperance class at the Battle Creek Sanitarium in order to prepare him to render effective service along these lines in the Scandinavian countries.
