Marion Cady

(1866-1948). Educator and author. A graduate of Battle Creek College (1893), he became head of the Science Department at Union College (1894-1898), president of Healdsburg College (1899-1903), and of Walla Walla College (1905-1911). He also was a Missionary Volunteer and educational secretary on the Pacific Coast for seven years. Later he was educational secretary of the Columbia Union Conference (1921), president of what is now Columbia Union College (1921-1922), and field secretary for the General Conference Educational Department for several years, until 1926. His published works include Fundamentals of Christian Education, Early Educational Pioneers, Better Voice for Better Speech, and The Education That Educates .
