Otto Schuberth

(1893-1966). Evangelist, educator, administrator. Born at College View, Lincoln, Nebraska, he attended Union College from 1908 to 1913 and then immediately began work in the office of the publishing house in College View. Later he and his wife went to Europe, where he engaged in teaching and ministerial work for two years. He was a school principal in Germany for 15 years and was asked in 1936 to serve as president of the Arabic Union at Jerusalem. He held this position for one year and then joined the teaching staff of the Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. In 1946 he became educational secretary of the Southern European Division, a position that he held until his retirement in 1958.
