Millenium

The period referred to as “a thousand years” in Rev. 20 —the interval between the first and second resurrections—during which Satan is bound and those raised in the first resurrection reign with Christ. Literally the term (Latin mille , “thousand,” and annum , “year”) means simply a period of a thousand years; for example, the Exodus occurred in the second millennium before Christ. I.
