When Ellen White voyaged across the the Atlantic in the Summer of 1885, she did not know that Europe would be her "home" for the next two years. She was accomodated in an apartment on the third floor of the publishing house in Basel, Switzerland.
From September 10 to 14, Ellen and her son Willie attended the Swiss Conference, which was held in the publishing house in Basel. Ellen White spoke several times. Following her message on Monday afternoon more than 12 were baptized.
